Beautiful Beach in Greece: Arvanitia

Have fun and relax in this small beach, take an invigorating swim in the warm water of the Argolic Gulf and enjoy a beautiful coastal walks. Nafplio’s town beach is called Arvanitia, a beach with gravel and small rocks pleasantly situated between Palamidi and Acronafplia, in the south end of the town. Arvanitia is a Greek word for Albanians.

After leading from the beach are two scenic walks. One is the Arvanitia Promenade, a seafront walk that starts at the beach before winding around the base of Acronafplia castle to the Port of Nafplio. The walk only takes about 20 minutes but there are plenty of things to see on the way. Look up at the canons that point out toward the bay from the castle’s bastions. At another way, steps lead down to the sea and to uninterrupted views. Watch as the sun drifts down behind the mountains on the opposite side of the bay.

A longer walk will take you to Karathona Beach. Follow the coastal path for about 2 miles (3 kilometers) to discover a long, sandy beach lined with palm trees. If you are feeling active then rent watersports equipment such as kayaks and snorkeling gear. Enjoy fresh fish and seafood at one of the traditional taverns that overlook the beach.

Arvanitia Beach is just a 10-minute walk from Syntagma Square, in the center of Nafplio. Parking is available at Arvanitia Square, situated above the entrance to the beach.

 

The beach offers sun loungers / parasols, a cozy cafe, toilets, dressing rooms, etc in the summer season. It is also fun to dive and swim from the low cliffs nearby. The beach is quite steep.

The beach area was upgraded significantly in 2014, with a substantial amount of fine gravel at the water's edge so that it is easier to get into the water. 

 

There is also free parking space provided in the area. On the left of the parking lot, one can see the gravel road, connecting the Arvanitia beach with that of Karathona. It is a route, pleasantly through greenery and astounding views. On the right of the parking lot, the stone-paved path leads to the small-sized shops of Nafplio port, a step away from the waves washing themselves ashore. The name given to the route is "the Arvanitia route" and what is offers is an amazing view of the bay of Argolida. And on summer evenings, come here to party!

The Hidden Heaven : Karma Kandara Ungasan Beach, Bali Island

    

     What is your favorite beach when you trip to Bali island? Kuta beach? Or Sanur beach? Those are maybe the most beautiful and popular beach in Bali island.      Karma Kandara beach is located in Ungasan village, Villa Kandara street, Banjar Wijaya Kusuma, Ungasan, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali. 27 kilometers from Denpasar.  To go to Karma Kandara you have to get off the main road which connect Uluwatu. The small road then brings you deep into a calm village with relatively less touristed atmosphere. Just follow the seemingly getting smaller road, then out of nowhere you will find the humble entrance to Karma Kandara and Nammos beach.

     Access to this beach there are two way you can take, It's use the stairs to get down the cliff to the beach and can be access from the di-mare restaurant and down to the beach using inclinator.

     

   

    The real name of this place is Nammos Beach club and now called Karma Kandara Beach. If you want to enjoy the beach you must pay Rp. 250.000 for details, an entrance fee Rp. 150.000, and Rp. 100.000 you can keep to your accomodation. This beach is very unusual. snorkeling, swimming, surfing and sun bathing are things you can do here. It's very cool place, there is a restaurant called Tample Lounge. And There is an iconic swimming pool with the "K" sign that will remembered us that the place is Karma Kandara.

    

     

     Karma Kandara is located on the beach below the cliff, approximately 150 feet tall make this place is far from pollutions. The beach is really clean and natural. The most visitor is from foreign tourists from Nammos Beach Club. The domestic visitor know this place is from the story that the other tells.
